They can be used interchangably, however, professionals will use P&C, as it's more technically correct.

General Insurance is simply defined as NON Life Insurance Policies. P&C or Property & Casualty Insurance is the correct terminology for General Insurance.

Property covers accidental damage to your possessions, and Casualty covers your responsibility for damage you cause to someone else’s possessions.

Well, there’s no "cap", but there aren’t exactly a ton of insurance companies happy to write property coverage in Florida.

95% of new agents STILL wash out, even in FL.

It’s more of a trick, finding companies willing to let you sell their insurance. If you can’t do that, you won’t have anything to SELL.
