		<description>Absolutely they not only can but are required to.  It is called subrogation.  The insurance company will collect not only what they paid out but also attempt to recover the insured&#039;s deductible which will be returned to them if the insurance company is successful.  Just because something is covered by insurance should not mean that someone who caused the damage through their negligence should be given a free pass!
